Susan: With your physique I can’t imagine anything less than 1st place. Are female bodybuilders being received better these days, then say 10 years ago?

Debra: No, I don’t believe so the General Public still does not appreciate female muscle

Susan: That’s a shame the public view gives no credit to female bodybuilders. What is your training philosophy?

Debra: Being consistent in your training along with proper diet and nutrition.

Susan: I couldn’t agree more; I have been there at one point myself. Can you give us a rundown of what your current training workout look like?

Debra: I train 6 days a week 1 ½ hours per day, off on Sundays

Susan: Could you share with us your philosophy on nutrition.

Debra: 60 % protein and 40% complex Carbs. I eat 5 small meals per day, avoid sugar, salt and high fats

Susan: Best way to stay healthy. It has been an awesome experience working out with you this past week. What are the most important aspects of gaining muscle for a new female lifter who wants to compete?

Debra in Black Outfit Debra: 1. Being consistent in your training

    2. Lifting smart with proper technique

    3. Diet and supplements

Susan: I can’t agree more and I love every minute of training with you. What was the hardest thing you had to deal with when it came to your diet before a competition?

Debra: Depleting my water 2 days before the show and trying to swallow dry chicken.

Susan: OMG, that is so true; been there, done it. How important are supplements in your bodybuilding program and which supplements do you use year round?

Debra: Amino acids, whey protein, creatine, omega 3s and flaxseed.

Susan: Flaxseed is an acquired taste but if you are serious it doesn’t matter just deal with it. Can you tell us about your family? Are you married? Do you have children?

Debra: I’m single except for a darling little dog, sister and brother in Denver.

Susan: Your dog is too cute. If you could thank one person for helping you reach your fitness goals, who would it be?

Debra: Dr. Gerald Lange MD, a doctor and personal trainer in Dallas Texas.

Debra: Still lifting weights and doing cardio

Susan: Healthy choice, healthy body I second that emotion. Anything else you would like to add?

Debra is one of the earliest female bodybuilders in the nation to grow an enormous muscle in her body with an appropriate diet and nutrition. She usually trains hard to improve her skill in bodybuilding with her strong heart in all her life. I admire her hard work in gym and wish her best of luck in training and contest.

    Robert.
