Thank you for all of your loving prayers, which gave the Lord's strength to my Mother and my family. My Father's passing May 29th 2009 has been very hard and we miss him very much. Even though it has been over 11 years, life has changed forever without him, there is a big void in my heart now. I catch myself remembering things he taught me everyday. Knowing he is with our Holy Father gives us comfort.
A Birthday Wish
My Father's birthday is on November 29, 2020 which is coming up shortly and I want to share the following with you all, in honor of him. My Father was a strong man who loved his family with every bone in his body. He served in the United States Army and Navy. Protecting our great country. He loved all animals and loved to dance. His smile would light up a room.
My Father and Mother are the sole reason Muscle-4Life-Nutrition.com (Muscle 4 Life Nutrition LLC.) exists, they taught me to be strong and never give up.
While my Father was in the hospital day's before he passed, he was laying in his bed looking to the left of me as if he was looking at someone. It was such an intense stare that it made me look behind myself to see who he was looking at, but there was no one there. As I turned to look back at my Father he said we are all going to heaven, I asked him who told you this Dad, he said the man as he continued looking. The whole time my Dad was at the hospital I felt the presents of the Lord, the warmth of his love. It was as if God was holding my Father in his arms. I will never forget this conversation between my Father and myself.
You are in my heart, soul, and my every thought Dad. This is not good bye, it is till we meet again.
I Want to dedicate the following song "Always" to my Father and Mother. Our savior is amazing!

Let him pass in safety through the gates of death, and live forever with all Your saints in the light You promised to Abraham and to all his descendants in faith. Guard him from all harm and on that great day of resurrection and reward raise him up with all Your saints. Pardon his sins and give him eternal life in Your kingdom. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Lord God, You commanded us to honor our parents. Kindly have mercy toward the soul of my father; forgive him his sins and allow me to see him again in the joy of Eternal Light! Through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
The following poem was chosen for my Father's funeral.
A beautiful life that came to an end. He died as he lived everyone's friend. In our hearts a memory will always be kept, of one we loved, and will never forget.
This written school project was written by my Dad's Grandaughter she was 13 years old.
Everyday of my life I am proud and honored to call myself an American Citizen. I am, simply for the reason that we are free. Free to make our own decisions and think how we choose. Free to speak how we wish, write how we wish, and have our own religion.
The day I was most proud to call my home America was the day of my grandfather’s funeral. My grandfather served in the Navy and United States Army. He served his country proudly for many years, and the day of his funeral they proudly salute him in gunfire to signify a fallen comrade. Then they did a traditional folding of the American flag, which the officers gave to my grandmother to honor my grandpa. They handed my grandma the flag, and my heart dropped. All I could do was hug her, because I knew nothing I could say would make it alright.
I remember that day, and the emotions swirling all around me. I remember as the gunfire went off, I turned to look at the rest of my family. Tears filled every one of their eyes, as if they had just realized now that my grandfather had really passed.
Tears welled in my eyes as well, but not from sadness, but because of pride. I was proud of our American way; proud that since my grandfather had served his country they would now give a proper salute, and especially proud to say that Heriberto Cervantes had served his country and he is my Grandfather.
Happy Birthday my Father, It is plain to see what a great impact you had on the lives of your wife, children, grandchildren, and friends. To the world you may have been one person but to me you were the world!

Child Haven is a part of the Clark County Department of Family Services (DFS) and provides temporary care and treatment for abused, neglected and abandoned children between 3 days to 17 years of age.
Children are placed in protective custody in Child Haven by police or DFS workers. The Child Haven campus consists of eight cottages, and activity and school centers. Corinthians 6:19-20 - honor God with your body
Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
Commentary
Have you ever stopped to think that that extra slice of pizza or skipping a trip to the gym has great spiritual implications? According to this passage it does. The Temple of Israel was where God dwelled among his people. It was a holy place, set apart for God's purposes and presence. The Apostle Paul is telling us here that this is what our bodies have become. "Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit." Our bodies have now been set apart for God's Holy Spirit to live in. This is an amazing thought! Because of this we are not to treat our bodies like they were given to us merely for our own personal use. God paid a great price for us with the life and death of his Son. We are responsible to take good care of our bodies-valuing them-and in so doing, honoring the God who now dwells within.
